Security on Maniasys.com
On Maniasys.com, you can freely visit all available collections, but you need to become a member in order to put your own collections online.
We are required by the French laws and regulations to keep information on the identities of our members, along with some other data (indicated by asterisks).
Your personal data cannot be accessed by other members: thus, any access to your account (e.g. updating your profile, reading your email, ...) requires that you be authenticated by entering your login name and password.
Levels of confidentiality
- Visitors : no information is kept on the identities of users visiting online collections.
- Members (or "registered users") : users are identified by their login names and can then create online collections. These collections are published with only the user's login name to identify their owner.
Users are legally responsible for publishing their collections, that is why they are asked to identify themselves.
Only their login names are visible to other users but their real identities will never be displayed.
Registration requires the user to choose a password to protect the online use of this login name : on accessing their accounts, users must submit their passwords to secure the use of their login names.
- Connected members : in order to protect members' personal data, access to some parts of the site is restricted. Members must submit their login names and passwords to ensure that no one else has access to their accounts and personal information.
- Authenticated members : during a session, connected members will have access to all parts of the site until they close their browsers or choose to disconnect from their accounts by clicking on "Log out" in the left menu.
In order to ensure the protection of your personal data, your authentication password can never be read : only an encoded version of it is used.

To secure the publication of collections, we have an obligation to keep the personal information of members.
Except for express notification, we will never redistribute your personal information.
